Privacy Policy

Lava Lamp | Calm Night Light is designed to work without an account, advertising, or behavioral analytics. This policy explains the limited information used by the app and its service providers.

Room photos and camera access

If you choose to create a room background, you can take a new photo with your camera or select an existing photo from your device. The app requests camera access only when you choose to take a new photo. Whether captured or selected, your room photo is stored locally on your device. The developer does not receive or upload your room photos. You can remove a stored room photo from the app's Settings.

Motion and device state

Optional motion information is processed on the device to animate the lava when shake interaction is enabled. Battery-charging state may be read locally to choose an appropriate graphics quality. The developer does not receive this information.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore unlocked features. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase or transaction information for app functionality, fraud prevention, and aggregate purchase analytics. Lava Lamp does not require an account and does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, room photos, contacts, or advertising identifier.

Fonts and network requests

The app may request the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. As with any web request, Google may receive basic technical information such as an IP address and browser or device information. Lava Lamp does not use Google Analytics or advertising services.

Tracking and advertising

Lava Lamp contains no advertising and does not track users across apps or websites. It does not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is not listed in Apple's Kids category.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app or its service providers change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
